One too like thee: tameless, and swift, and proud."

THOU still unravish'd bride of quietness,

Thou foster-child of Silence and slow Time,

Sylvan historian, who canst thus express

A flowery tale more sweetly than our rhyme:

What leaf-fringed legend haunts about thy shape

Of deities or mortals, or of both,

John Keats

Be Thou The rainbow in the storms of life.  The evening beam that smiles  the clouds away , and tints tomorrow with prophetic ray.

What possibilities, the unexpected, what surprises lie within the sleep.  Somewhere in dreams joy and mischief vibrate through the inky fur and plans are made.  Some will come to pass this new day when least looked for.  Remembered not will be this stillness but loping humor will possess our minds, curious expressions, take our whit on sliding, skittering travels.  Perhaps that which holds affection will be sent flying and rendered use for only the dustbin, but is it not the task of a comrade to assist in thinning out the unnecessary, removing clutter from important runways of fancy and play; the architect of chaos.  All this from the deceptive repose; from wonder at the birds alight in the trees outside the window to sudden activity of many and varied sorts.  Here, inertia holds no promised length of passage or stay.  A parable of the misleading stillness on the path seeming to portend a deaf ear of Divinity, which ultimately yields our gifts better than hoped for.
